A family recipe for a pretzel salad. This is an easy to make dessert that is sure to satisfy. We've made a gluten-free variation by subbing the appropriate pretzels. The fruit is ultimately up to your choosing, I am sure 90% of fruits will work for this recipe, just be mindful of how quickly this will be eaten if you choose bananas or apples, for example. The pretzels are a key ingredient, and we use them in a way that makes them crispy and crunchy, adding a delightful texture to the salad. The fruit can be any variety you like, but we often use a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, which create a vibrant and refreshing color palette. The dressing is simple, usually a mix of honey, lemon juice, and a touch of salt, which brings out the natural sweetness of the fruit and complements the pretzels perfectly. The combination of the sweet fruit, the salty pretzels, and the tangy dressing makes for a delightful and satisfying treat. We've found that this recipe is especially popular at family gatherings and potlucks, where it's always the first dish to disappear.

  • • 2 cups crushed pretzels
