Another holiday rotation regular, right alongside the smoked turkey.
Ingredients
- • 1 pre-cooked spiral-cut ham
- • Brown sugar
- • Honey
- • A splash of apple cider vinegar or juice
Steps
- 1.Since a spiral ham is already fully cooked, the smoker's job is really about reheating and adding flavor -- set up your smoker around 250°F.
- 2.Whisk together brown sugar, honey, and a splash of apple cider vinegar or juice for a simple glaze.
- 3.Smoke the ham until it reaches about 140°F internal, brushing with the glaze every 30-45 minutes so it builds up a sticky, caramelized crust.
- 4.Rest briefly, then slice along the spiral cuts and serve.
