I'm so excited to share this Tuscan Chicken Orzo recipe with you! It's a hearty and delicious dish that's perfect for a cozy dinner. The recipe starts with cooking orzo in chicken broth, then adding in chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and a variety of seasonings. After baking, it's topped with fresh spinach and Parmesan cheese. It's simple to make and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • • 2 cups orzo, uncooked
  • • 3 cups chicken broth
  • • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • • 2 lb of chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked
  • • 1 tsp salt
  • • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • • 1 jar sun-dried tomatoes with oil, cut into smaller pieces
  • • 1 bag of fresh spinach
  • • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Steps

  1. 1.Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  2. 2.Combine all the ingredients.
  3. 3.Pour the mixture into the dish.
  4. 4.Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes.
  5. 5.Remove from the oven, stir, then fold in the Parmesan cheese.
